Single parents encounter distinct challenges while exploring Disney World with children - particularly when those kids include a teen-ager and a small one. Simply visualize having to deal with the conflicting desires of a small child and a teen by yourself. But no matter if you are a single mom or dad, you can deftly triumph over these issues at Disney World with the assistance of a bit of wise planning.
A few moms and dads might have a teen ready to go off on his or her own in Disney World. Give that adolescent a bit of cash and make sure the cell phone is operational, and you have got that problem momentarily fixed. However, what if the teenager is not that gutsy?
What a single parent could use is rides that suit every age, a simple place for everyone to dine, and ways to avoid having hissy fits.
The Magic Kingdom
Among the fabulous things of the Magic Kingdom is that it features a myriad of rides for everybody - hair-raising and mild. There are actors in costume everywhere. And the transportation to the park and back is easy to use.
But it could be hard to find your way around the Magic Kingdom, which is certainly a negative with restless kids. Moms or Dads can lose their restraint too when you find yourself going around aimlessly. To explore Magic Kingdom, it's helpful to study a map. If you can't accomplish that in advance, be certain to pick up a map when you go in. In fact, pick up a map anyway.
Most of these rides have frightening moments - dark scenes with fake snakes, skeletons, fake fire and corpses. Hey, who would not get scared? But here are some of the Magic Kingdom rides that appeal most successfully to both older and younger kids: Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor.
Epcot
Epcot, to tell the truth, is not the finest place for small children. Adolescents like it. The park has a few tremendously thrilling rides, including Test Track and Mission: Space. However, similar to the majority of the rides at Epcot, these rides impose height restrictions, which are going to disqualify the little ones.
So if you think your small kid is going to be crabby at Epcot, it may be a good idea to avoid it. Either that or try the World Showcase or the Future World West.
